Counselling Psychology
The therapy sessions will be guided by psychological theory, integrating a variety of therapeutic tools. I am grounded in cognitive, psychodynamic and integrative therapies. You might be experiencing unprocessed and unexpressed emotions which can manifest in different ways such as worrying, not being able to concentrate, feeling low in mood or feeling withdrawn. This can then result in feeling disconnected from self and others. Therapy will help make sense of your current feelings and experiences in a safe and confidential space for you to explore, heal and grow to help you reach your therapy goals.
Clients usually enter therapy when feeling overwhelmed and needing some extra support. I have a depth of experience working with young people, adults and older adults with a wide variety of difficulties such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, health concerns, OCD, panic, PTSD, relationship issues, self-esteem, stress and trauma. I tailor the therapy according to the specific needs of each individual by supporting them to a place of balance in their emotional wellbeing. Whatever the issue, as a therapist of care and integrity I will support you as effectively and quickly as possible to help you reach your goals.
