What will happen at my first appointment?
At your first appointment we will discuss what has brought you to therapy and look at how I can best support you. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you have about therapy.

• A safe non-judgemental space to help you identify and resolve issues
• Development of greater self-awareness
Is counselling confidential?
Yes, everything you discuss in therapy is confidential between you and the therapist. There are certain expectation to this policy and we will clarify this at your first appointment. The exception to confidentiality is if you or someone else was at risk.
Is counselling non-judgemental?
I do not judge behaviour or personal life experience and I respect each client for their individual choices. I do not discriminate on grounds of age, race, gender, sexuality, religion, illness or ethnicity.
Can I stop therapy at any time?
Yes, you may end your sessions whenever you feel necessary and without explanation or you may wish to take a counselling break and resume therapy when ready at a later date.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
It is important to maintain consistency of your appointments. Your appointment and room will be reserved for you at an agreed time and day each week. Therefore if you need to cancel your appointment you will need to provide 48 hours’ notice otherwise a full fee would be incurred.
